Retail therapy is a real thing, so it may result in happier Sims! I hear even window shopping can be therapeutic.
So why not give them a glitzy place to shop by building your own Sims 4 Shopping Mall?
Or alternatively, you could also download some pre-made shopping mall builds! Check out our list for some quality recommendations.
Shopping Mall Lots
1. Abandoned Mall by MikkiMur
I’m a huge sucker for end-of-the-world settings. So MikkiMur’s Abandoned Mall spoke right to my post-apocalyptic fantasies!
It’s a work of art littered in newspapers, flattened boxes, and completely trashed and looted retail stores. Really heavy and really awesome stuff.
If the vibe suits your play style and narrative, I highly recommend you get it!
But if you were looking for modern, non-abandoned shopping malls, don’t worry. The next four lots are exactly that.
2. Magnolia Shopping Mall by Simattica
I absolutely adore the creator’s lore for this lot.
It’s short, sweet, and totally warrants a read. Plus it perfectly summarizes what you can find in this lot.
There are clothing stores, book stores, and luxe novelty shops. There’s even a boutique art gallery!
P.S. You don’t have to place it down in Magnolia Promenade if you don’t want to! It’ll fit in any 40×30 lot.
3. Shopping Mall + Indoor Waterpark by Summerr Plays
A shopping mall with ten shops, high windows, glass ceilings, and an indoor waterpark?
This place is grand, indeed!
Apparently heavily inspired by West Edmonton Mall, Summerr Plays’ custom lot is the definition of modish retail. Everything in it, from the storefronts to the tiling to the accent décor, just looks so luxurious and sparkly.
4. Shopping and More by evi
This lot by evi isn’t actually a “shopping mall,” per se, but a functional shop with four buildings.
But given the clean division and exceptional design (I think the exterior is especially well done!), this custom build could totally work as a local shopping strip! The main building can hold two or three smaller retail shops while the two side buildings can have a restaurant and a café each, etc.
This lot allows for a lot of variety!
5. The Fashion Mirror by casmar
This mall is every bit as intimidating and impressive as you imagine it to be.
Seriously; look at the preview photos and multiply the effect by five.
How the creator designed the interior and exterior is nothing short of remarkable! Covered in wall-to-ceiling mirrors on the outside, the mall sometimes appears invisible.
The inside is just as crazy-luxurious (and has even more mirrors)!
Mall CC/Décor Packs
6. Simffany Jewelry Store by Sim4fun
Sim4fun’s Simffany store is an absolute gem!
(No pun intended).
Clever name aside, the actual build itself is striking. Wide, open display areas with gold-gilded cases, glass counters, and velvet pillows? This place screams luxury without needing visible price tags.
The creator even gives us the option to download either the Simffany jewelry store as a pre-built lot, or as a pack of custom furniture and decorative CC.
7. Retail Therapy by grimcookies
Grimcookies’ deco set contains some gorgeous Maxis Match pieces that you’d find in a retail clothing store.
A clothing rack (clothes and hangers included), a shelf, and a good half-dozen decorative shoes with their respective shoe boxes.
It’s a perfectly-sized CC pack for filling up local clothing boutiques!
8. Shopping by Syboubou
Syboubou gives us an incredibly extensive set of items (31 total!) to build a high-end retail store.
There are changing room curtains, clothes mannequins, gilded display cases, and more! And aside from their beautiful designs and top-notch quality, all the meshes are completely BGC.
The cash register will work if you have Sims 4 GTW installed. If not, it’s still a pretty deco piece!
9. La Friperie by Around the Sims 4
Fill the mall’s thrift shop fit to bursting with these decorative clothes racks from Around the Sims 4!
This La Friperie is apparently a second-hand clothing retail store. It’s full of colors, patterns, and interesting silhouettes.
There’s even a healthy selection of hats and caps!
10. Bath & Body Works Shop & Set by One Billion Pixels
One Billion Pixels’ Bath & Body Works Shop is another incredibly extensive CC set and custom lot.
It’s full of high-quality health, wellness, and self-care products from a real (and beloved) brand. Lotions, body washes, perfumes, and adorable designer shopping bags—there’s a lot to unpack here and a lot more to love.
11. Game Store by Sim4fun
There’s something for everyone in a shopping mall.
You’ve got shoes for the sneakerheads, clothes for the fashion-conscious shopaholics, and – lo and behold – a fully-stocked Game Store for the gamers.
Decorative shelves, display cases, game discs, console boxes, and more.
Truly everything your video-gaming Sims could ask for.
12. The Glam Clothing Rack by Beverly Hills Sims
If your Sim is the type who wouldn’t be caught dead shopping department store deals, check out these swanky clothing racks from Beverly Hills Sims.
Non-functional units they may be, but the garment selection on them? Pretty darn stunning. And luxe, too!
13. TS3 Clothing Rack Converted to TS4 by divadoom
Need some pretty pastel clothing racks?
For the shopping mall stores that want a more eye-catching store display (that looks friendlier to the general public, too), these brightly-colored displays may be just what the store manager ordered!
They’re sweet, simple, and can fill up free space quite nicely.
14. Zara Clothes Rack by SIMcredible!
Originally designed for the creator’s Zara Bedroom set, these clothing racks are, admittedly, a bit sparse for retail stores.
However, for thrift stores and secondhand shops, they wouldn’t look out of place!
Maybe a little under-stocked, but let’s say the shop just had a seasonal sale.
Either way, the racks are cute (especially the one with the light bulbs) and definitely deserve a spot in your mall.
15. SLODIE Make Up Floor Deco Eyeshadows Stand by jomsims
Something for the makeup department!
Jomsims’ Slodie eyeshadow display contains four trays of lovely eyeshadows—and maybe some blushes, too!
It’s just one item with four swatches but, don’t worry; this shelf will work wonders for populating the Beauty branch of your mall.
P.S. If you need a couple more decorative makeup clutters to set the tone, check out the other eyeshadow and lipstick display trays in the same set.
16. Chanel Make Up Shelf by Bommie Sims
More stuff for the beauty stores!
Bommie Sims’ pack lets you add Chanel to the many, many luxe makeup brands your TS4 mall carries.
Alternatively, you can use this gorgeous display set to decorate and/or fill up wall space in a Simsified Chanel outlet!
The makeup and units are separate items, too. So you can have both empty and restocked shelves in-store.
17. Deco Mannequins – Man by Akuiyumi
Akuiyumi’s deco mannequins are every bit as unnerving as real mannequins, but they are useful for populating clothing stores.
It makes the build seem more legit.
Plus the amount of outfit styles in this package (five outfits per category for a total of 40 swatches!) is super extensive.
P.S. You can get the Deco Mannequins – Woman version here.
18. Jean Retail Stuff by Vicarious Living
Shopping for jeans is always tough.
Thankfully, a lot of brands nowadays carry diverse options to include more shapes and sizes.
You can use Vicarious Living’s stuff pack to populate your TS4 shopping mall with just as many options!
19. Wedding Boutique Set by Martine
Your TS4 shopping mall can have a boutique wedding store for excited grooms and blushing brides-to-be!
Check out Martine’s Wedding Boutique set—a variety pack of different, holy-matrimony-themed deco items, like wedding posters and dainty, decorative pumps!
It’s all lacy, delicate, and exactly what you’d expect in a bridal shop.
20. Decoration Stores Standards (7 Items) by JenniSims
JenniSims’ deco pack is a pretty random but useful mix of store display items.
I mean, you’ve got mounted shoes, a cigarette display, and corner shelves full of soda bottles. The 2-liter kind.
It’s a little confusing, yeah, but it’s great for filling up awkward empty space in retail builds!
21. Bridal Shop Set: Anybody’s Dress by Ravasheen
As the name suggests, Ravasheen’s Bridal Shop pack contains decorative stuff for a bridal boutique.
The highlight of the set is definitely the mannequins – what with over 50 clothing swatches!
But the other miscellaneous items in there (the poster, the signage, etc.) are just as cute.
22. TS4 – Cosmetic Stands by Ladesire
If you need a couple more stalls or counters for the Beauty branch, check out Ladesire’s pack of Cosmetic Stands.
What’s cool about these display cases is that each swatch – which represents a different brand – changes the items displayed on the surface.
So the Revlon swatch shows foundations and blushes and stuff while the Clairol swatch shows boxes of hair dye.
It’s a pretty neat trick—and a great way to get more variety in your build!
23. Gazoul’s Shop: Jean Factory for Men & Women by Gazoul
Gazoul’s Shop has something for all genders!
The pack contains four decorative pants for men, five for women, and six assorted miscellaneous (that are still jeans-store-themed). You can download the creator’s custom wall hooks as well (linked in the description) to hang up and display the pants as needed!
24. Riekus Valentines Day Gifts by leosims
This Tiffany & Co deco CC pack contains almost everything you’d find at a jewelry store.
Earrings on little silk pillows, watches in embossed boxes, and miscellaneous jewelry pieces.
All’s you need to do is provide the display units and the floor plan and, voila! You’ve got a Tiffany & Co in your shopping mall!
25. Display & Jewelry Set by jomsims
For jewelry outfits offering gaudier jewelry, jomsims’ set offers display units and glass cases bearing brightly-colored baubles.
Golden chains, blood-red rubies, crystal blue earrings, blinding green emeralds … you name it, it’s probably here!
26. Beauty for Him by Sim4Fun
We’ve got plenty of pink label beauty supplies on this list. So why not bring in some practical hygiene products?
Deodorant, disposable razors, shampoo, toothpaste, and more.
Everything your Sim needs to keep their bathroom fully stocked.
27. BAUBLE & Bandera Beauty Supplies by RightHearted
I genuinely had to do a quick Google search for Yaritza, Bauble & Bandera just to see if it was an actual brand.
RightHearted’s marketing pitch (aka the CC description) and their custom meshes are so good, I thought they were modeled off actual IRL items. Nope! Every custom object you see in this set (21 total) is an original idea. It’s so cool!
28. PrettyxSimblr’s Shopping Bags Redux! by One Billion Pixels
What’s the one place a random shopping bag would not look so random if not a shopping mall? Piled against a park bench? Little weird.
Propped against a lamppost? Definitely warrants a pause.
But in a shopping mall? It’s all good!
One Billion Pixels’ redux of PrettyxSimblr’s shopping bags introduces 32 IRL brands for your mall to carry.
29. Uplifting Elevators by Ravasheen
If your TS4 shopping mall has more than a couple floors, give your Sims shoppers an easier way to traverse all levels.
Ravasheen’s Uplifting Elevators are base game-compatible lifts that – wait for it – actually work!
Sims will autonomously use it as a platform to get around. Plus it has no lot or pack restrictions. Definitely a must-have for grander complexes!
30. Business Signs by Jools
For all the refreshment stands, restaurants, and cafes in your shopping mall, this chalkboard sign from Jools is a classic.
It’s simple, it says it, and it’s just as effective as all other forms of signage.
Choose from over a whopping 50 different designs.
