I’m sure your Sims do.
So here are some excellent poses you can put them in as proof of them blowing all those hard-earned Simoleons.
Let them live a little, you know?
But before I get into the list, let me just introduce this shopping bag accessory recolor for future reference as we go along.
See, a lot of the poses here use the same shopping bag accessory by ebonix. Unfortunately, the original file messed with my Sims’ skin texture (though it could be because I’m using a skin replacement mod).
If ebonix’s shopping bag accessory doesn’t work for your game, KM’s recolor might do the trick!
1. Family Shopping (Pose Pack) by Beto_ae0
Holidays are just around the corner (aren’t they always?) So let the shopping commence!
That’s basically the vibe of this fun little family-centric pose pack by Beto_ae0, and I think it’s pretty darn cute.
Just a nice wholesome family outing with a couple shopping bags and packages mixed in.
There are 4 poses in all: one for the full family (two Adults or Young Adults, one Toddler), one for the Toddler with each Adult/Young Adult, and one cute couple-y pose for the Adults/Young Adults.
Where’d the Toddler go in the last one?
I dunno, but I’m sure mall security is on it.
2. Shopping Time by simmerberlin
This grocery shopping pose pack is, I gotta say, one of my personal favorites on the list.
There’s just something about the casual simplicity of it.
No crazy expressions and not a lot of accessories or sets needed — just a shopping cart, a paper grocery bag, and up to seven teleporters.
The 6 group poses in this set allow for a healthy mix of Adults/Young Adults, Toddlers, and Children.
The first pose is the biggest; three Adults/Young Adults, two Children, two Toddlers.
The rest are bite-sized variations of the original group that make for chill errand-day screenshots.
Plus the last pose is unbearably cute; two kids, two tots, and an unsupervised shopping cart.
I also like how the creator describes the poses in-game with captions like “tol adult,” “smol adult,” and “adult holding coffee.” Really helps you assign poses easily.
3. Grocery Day – A Pose Pack by cowplant-pizza
The only major beef I have against this pack is that it’s giving me major insecurities about my own grocery days.
I’m never that happy when I’m running errands, and my friends certainly never tag along.
But I digress.
Creator Cowplant-pizza gives us a quaint grocery trip pack to add to this Sims 4 shopping list (get it? I’ll see myself out), and it’s as chill as they come.
These 6 poses are divvied up into two individual poses (for Adults/Young Adults), three couple poses, and one group pose (three Adults/Young Adults only).
The creator also includes the download link to NeutralSupply’s Grocery Bag Accessory, which you’ll need for most of the poses to make sense.
4. Retail Therapy Poses by trendingsims
For when your shopaholic Sims decide to hit the town with their like-minded fashion-forward pals, behold.
There are two group poses here meant for five Adult/Young Adult Sims in this set, and they’re both pretty good quality.
No awkward limbs, no weird expressions, no tremulous glitches and the like.
However, these poses do need shopping bag accessories to make sense (otherwise the shots will just look like poorly-timed freeze frames).
You also have to match the accessories to the preview photos perfectly.
Or else some Sims will look like they’re throwing shopping bags in the air.
It’s a little tough since the in-game pose list doesn’t have labels, but if you really want pictures of a cute girls-day-out shopping trip, it’s well worth the painstaking matchmaking.
5. Always Shopping Pose Pack by trendingsims
Okay, so.
This pack is a bit of a doozy.
In terms of the poses themselves, everything’s pretty straightforward. They’re all single poses save for the last one, which is a very simple couple’s pose.
And there are only 5 in total, so you can easily keep track of each one.
However, I will say that you need an insane amount of accessories for each pose to make sense.
The first one needs a pile of shopping bags and boxes.
The third needs a car and shopping bags.
The fifth one needs boxes and shopping bags for the Male Sim.
Thankfully, the creator links everything they used in the description. But there’s quite a bit of finagling involved to make the scenes look like the preview photos.
Still, this pack is pretty fun to play with.
If you’ve got the time and the need for it, definitely download it!
6. On the Phone Poses (Running Errands Edition) by MoonShinerSims
I’m going to preface this by saying that this pose pack is hella cute.
The concept’s ridiculously simple but also pretty unique, and that – I think – is what caught my eye.
Because the scenes it depicts are so normal and so relatable.
I am one hundred percent guilty of staring at my phone more than my cart as I go around the grocery, and there are definitely a lot of in-between moments where I look at the screen instead of my surroundings.
It also helps that the model in the previews has got this small, chill smile.
There’s something quite homey about this pack that I absolutely love, so…
Get it. You won’t regret it.
P.S. the phone accessory the creator linked doesn’t work, but you can always try this phone by redheadsims.
7. Retail Therapy by ebonix
Here’s one of the most straightforward shopping pose packs I’ve had the pleasure of testing out.
The only accessories needed are the shopping bags and a sense of fashion (for your Sim).
There are solo poses, couple poses, and one group pose for three Sims, easy as you please.
And each post definitely looks like a Sim and their friends just fully enjoying a casual shopping day around town.
The in-game pose list also has thumbnails to help you sort the poses out.
8. Shopping With a Friend Posepack by Ana Zanacolle
This is a set of 2 poses that portray exactly what the name says: two Sims, several shopping bags, and a whole lot of smiles.
You don’t even need to set a stage for this; just put two teleporters in the same spot, zap your Sims over there, and line up the three poses for easy screenshots.
I will say that you need to pay close attention to the preview photos regarding the shopping bag placement and the Frappuccino accessory (first pose).
If you don’t, the Sim on the right could end up smacking the Sim on the left with a Forever 21 bag.
9. Christmas Shopping (Pose Pack) by Beto_ae0
‘tis the season to do some heavy-duty shopping – and your Sims are definitely all for it (or so this pose pack suggests).
The poses in this set are pretty cutesy and heartwarming; just two Sims getting some Christmas shopping done—and being as couple-y as possible in the process.
Not a lot of accessories needed for this one, either:
Just the standard shopping bags and a sneaky little gift box accessory for the last pose (all linked in the creator’s description, thankfully).
Four pose sets for two Adults/Young Adults, and both are very clearly labeled.
And here’s something else: the creator doesn’t explicitly say this, but I found that these poses are actually pretty unisex.
You can easily have two Male models or two Female models in these poses without them looking awkward.
A great pose pack to add into any kind of holiday pose collection.
10. Let’s Shop! by simmerberlin
This pose pack by simmerberlin has some of the most versatile poses on this list.
Despite the clear Male models in the preview photos, trust me when I say that the 6 couple poses are unisex.
You can have two Males, two Females, or one of each.
I tried it with the Male-Female combination (with a smol Female and a tol Male) and it looked perfectly fine.
Just like two friends palling around and blowing some cash in the process.
Absolutely loved how it photographed.
The solo shots are more suited for Female models, so I wouldn’t assume they’re unisex. They look just as good, though!
There are 3 of them, and all you really need to give them context is a coffee cup accessory and a shopping bag accessory (all linked in the description — thanks simmerberlin!).
