The best place to farm Slime Jellies is Stage 8. Levulin Harbor, which is located in the Unrecorded History Side Story.
Slime Jellies are the only Catalysts featured as drops in this stage.
Unrecorded History (AP Exchange Shop)
You can buy up to 20 Slime Jellies per week for 120 AP each from the AP Exchange Shop located here. This should be your main source of Catalysts when farming Unrecorded History stages.
If you want to reduce the amount of grinding you have to do, remember to equip a Pet that increases your AP acquisition rate when Auto-Repeating this stage!

Rare and Epic Catalysts can always be farmed from active Side Story Events – just like other precious resources and materials like Runes, Gold, or Molagoras.
Most of the rewards you get from these Events require little to no farming at all, so make sure you’re participating in as many of them as you can.
Note: As of Patch 01/26/23, you can now play any Side Story Event you want as long as you’ve already unlocked them.
To unlock Side Story Event Missions, all you need to do is clear Adventure Mode stages. You can only play one Side Story Event at a time.
Replace Side Story (Dear Mentor > Unspoken Truth)
Choosing or replacing a Side Story requires an item called “Change Ticket”. You are given a Change Ticket once every two weeks.

Another convenient way to get some Rare Catalysts like Slime Jellies is to request them from your guildmates once per day via Guild Aid.
You can only request up to 2 Rare Catalysts per day and change your chosen Aid item once every 24 hours, so choose wisely.
Also, remember to give back some of your extra Catalysts once in a while. This way, your guildmates will be more receptive to donating more materials to you in the future.
